Recommendation 8 - Office of Public Sector Information Re-use Request Web Channel
Recommendation 8 of the Power of Information Review recommended that the Office of Public Sector Information (OPSI) explore and develop a re-use request channel to gather and assess requests for the re-use of public sector information. The re-use request channel will be delivered by 31 July 2008.
OPSI held three events in January 2008, engaging different sectors of the community to explore this idea and seek input into how users would expect the webchannel to be utilised and what it should provide. The events were jointly hosted with JISC and Intellect. The following documents report on the three events.
The re-use request channel has now been launched on the OPSI website as the Unlocking Service (beta)
